We at k29 edutainment believe that deaf and hard of hearing children should be able to enjoy playing computer games as much as any other children but all too often finding out how to play them is too hard as the instructions and feedback are only audible. If the instructions are in text then often young children have not always reached the level of literacy required to understand them.
K29 edutainment is in the process of modifying computer games for sign language. We have selected the Fun-Ed range of award-winning educational games as the first games to modify because of their excellence in e-learning and the wide-range of appeal to all age groups. These games are also very appropriate to homeschooling and can be used to reinforce other learning activities.
This is an exciting, challenging and interesting project for K29 and we would appreciate any comments or suggestions or you may wish to offer.
If you have used any of these games before do let us know which ones you liked best and why - this will help us prioritise our development.

Have fun and enjoy the games as much as we do.
