Fun-Ed at MILIA 2001

16th February 2001

Outside the MILIA conferenceWe were very fortunate to be participants in MILIA 2001. Billed as the largest interactive content marketplace, MILIA is held at Cannes, France annually.

Content producers, game developers, distributors, publishers and members
of the press from all corners of the world - including 800 exhibitors, 2,500 companies from 50 countries and the French Prime Minister - were all there!

We attended MILIA 2001 with the following
objectives in mind:

  • To generate interest in and test eVac-U8! from Windy Towers' acceptance level on a global audience
  • To check out the market and our competitors
  • To explore opportunities
  • To learn about and research emerging technologies.

At the end of 14 February, we were all pleased and extremely gratified by the warm response of other game developers, distributors and publishers alike to eVac-U8! from Windy Towers.

It confirmed for us that eVac-U8 from Windy Towers is a world-class CD-ROM rich with content, colour and depth, well above current international standards. Viewers were particularly impressed with the quality of the graphics and the 3D model building activity away from the computer.

It has been an eye-opening experience and there is a possibility that different versions of eVac-U8! from Windy Towers in different languages may be released to cater for local audiences.
