Lauren Bourke, Tess Cochrane, Emily Davies, Shenae Marsh, Anna McCarthy,
Rachael Pantin, Cheyenne O'Callaghan and Cherie Vaz have formed a
junior advisory board to work with the creators of a mathematics CD
ROM called eVac-U8.
The group has met the designers, the program writers, educational
consultants and game writers to provide constructive criticism before
the program goes into production. Meanwhile, all Year 4 students are having fun and learning mathematics concepts
through classroom use of the CD ROM, as well as learning PowerPoint
and the spreadsheet program, Excel.
The class has recently established an email link with a British school
involved in a similar project.
